Overview
Timesheets are used to determine your payslip amounts, and calculate hours worked etc. Timesheets also provide an important role in your company as keeping good records may be a requirement under New Zealand Law. Timesheets record the:
- actual worked data for a particular pay period (e.g. hours worked).
- any unit allowances to be applied for a particular pay period (e.g. travel or uniform allowance).
⚠️ NOTE: Sometimes you may be paid for an item (e.g. an "on call" allowance because you worked on the weekend) which may show in your payslip but not on the timesheet. Please be aware that items on your payslip can also be triggered by "rules" in the background of the Tempus platform.
If you have an questions relating to your timesheets' please raise this with your payroll contact; who will aim to assist you.
