◾ Overview
Tempus has many pre-built integrations with 3rd party apps. If we do not have a pre-built integration we may assist by importing via a Tempus standard file format.
If you are using this method, this should be setup for you on our behalf.
If you are experiencing issues with the import via standard file format, please raise this to our support desk at support@payrollbytempus.com and provide:
- The import file you are trying to upload
- A screenshot of the error/warning being displayed by Tempus
◾ Access Timesheets Import via Tempus Platform
1. Login to your Tempus profile at secure.payrollbytempus.com
2. After you login; you will be presented with the Employee Management Dashboard. On the left hand side select Timesheets >> Import Timesheets.
3. This will open up the import page. Make sure that you have set this to "Custom file upload" and then proceed with selecting your file. Once you have selected your file click "Confirm upload" to start the upload process.
4. Once the file is uploaded, the column mapping should automatically set as per Tempus standard Format labelling. Review the column mapping and proceed to the bottom of the page, where you can find the "Import" button.
5. Once imported, you should get a "Import Successful" update and it will show you how many timesheet lines were successfully imported.
NOTE: If your import states that some of the import was not successful due to "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime." this is ok - all it means is we have a data cleanse process setup for you and you didn't use all the rows we had the cleansing formula set for.
